Episode 78: Get Busy Living with Lynn McNutt
Dec 22, 2021
From Caregiver to Creator: A Midlife Journey of Reinvention
From Grief to Growth
What happens when a lifelong performer hits pause to care for loved ones—and then finds herself called to the wilderness for healing?
Lynn McNutt is an actor, singer, and storyteller with over 25 years of experience in national tours, Off-Broadway shows, and regional theater. In midlife, she stepped away from the stage to become a full-time caregiver. After the loss of her father, she didn’t return to the spotlight right away—instead, she laced up her hiking boots and set off on a solo backpacking journey along the Florida Trail.
Now in her second act, Lynn is creating original solo performances, using her voice and movement to illuminate stories that connect and transform. This episode is about grief, growth, reinvention—and what it means to get busy living on your own terms.
