If you ask Trish Appello, the answer is never. And she's not just saying that. She's living it.

At 55, Trish gave herself permission to pursue something she'd quietly wanted for decades. What followed was a journey that took her from volunteering at a local film festival to background work on some of the biggest shows on television, to walking the stage at UCLA at 61 with a film producing certificate in hand — and now, to the edge of something even bigger.

She's the creator of The EffYou 50s — a comedy series about four women who decide that the rules about midlife simply don't apply to them anymore. And the story of how she got there? It's exactly the kind of thing we talk about on this podcast.
