The Midlife Uprising Summit is a free 3-day online event that will help women in midlife get unstuck, get inspired and take steps to bust through resignation and old habits so they can take on new challenges, dreams and passion projects.

HOW IT'LL ALL WORK
How the whole thing will work...
This is a free, online event with presentations available for 24 hours after they go live. I will be offering attendees an opportunity to upgrade to an All-Access Pass called the Midlife Power Pack.
As a speaker, you will get free access to the Power Pack!
I'm building the event on 3 thematic pillars... Clarity, Compassion and Courage... one for each day of the event.
- Day 1 - Clarity around our automatic thoughts and unearthing our desires for the future.
- Day 2 - Compassion - Reframing our thoughts with a big dose of self compassion.
- Day 3 - Courage and taking action towards our desires and goals.
PRESENTATIONS
- The event will run from Wednesday May 11 through Friday May 13 with 8-10 pre-recorded presentations each day.
- Presentations - 15 to 20 minutes long with a worksheet
- Each presentation can include a 3 minute pitch/offer at the end. **I'll put a link to your offer on your presentation page to help you build your email list.
- Join the community chat for a hour on the day of your presentation for an extra opportunity to connect with guests and answer questions. (There is no video component, so attendance in pjs is recommended 😉) You are welcome to go into the community group at any time to connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

PROMOTION
- We’ll have a two week promotion period starting April 25th.
- You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy!
**During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the Midlife Power Pack. This includes an All-Access Pass for the replays and worksheets as well as additional bonuses we’ll all throw in. This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to grow your email list. Woop!

So this all sounds great, buuuut what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make this all as easy as humanly possible so we can all have a blast while providing great value and growing our businesses.

1. Basic Information
DUE DATE: ASAP or March 31st
The first thing I’ll need is some very basic information from you so I can finish up our Registration page and Speakers page.
This information includes:
- Name
- Title
- Website Link
- Bio
- Square headshot
- Mailing Address
- Rough Presentation Title
- Presentation Preference - Self recorded or Interview Style
- Let me know if you can participate in the Community Chat on the day of your presentation.
Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information.
3. Presentation
Due Date: April 19th
Next, I'll need your presentation!
- Submit a 15-20 minute pre-recorded presentation
Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away with ideas and actionable tasks.
With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:
- Interview-style (I will be scheduling interviews slots April 1 - April 12)
- Record your own presentation on your own time (with Slides or without... and just your gorgeous face)
If you’d like to go with the interview style presentation, schedule a time with me to do that here. We can work together to come up with questions or you can send me a list of questions.
**You are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.
Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:
- A quick introduction
- An overview of your topic
- Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it
- Teaching section
- Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)
- Up to a 3-minute pitch at the end
- Include questions for attendees to answer in the chat box throughout to boost engagement.
4. Worksheet
DUE DATE: April 11 or April 19 *see below for more info
Along with each presentation will be a worksheet. There are a few reasons behind this:
- They encourage people to take action, which increases value
- It’s an easy way for viewers to take notes
- We’ll be able to capture the email addresses of people interested in your topic, which you’ll receive after the event is over.
The content of the worksheet should follow along with your presentation and encourage attendees to take action. You are more than welcome to include links and a call-to-action at the end.
This process is meant to be as easy as possible so you have a couple of options. You can either:
- Create the worksheet yourself, using your own branding. With this option, you’re free to reuse it in the future however you’d like.
- Write out your worksheet contents and send it to me to be put into the summit’s worksheet template.
If you choose to go with option 1, your worksheet will be due along with your presentation on April 19th. If you choose option 2, your presentation is due on April 11th to give me time to take care of it.
5. Power Pack Contribution
DUE DATE: April 19th
The Midlife Power Pack will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:
- eBooks
- Workbooks
- Courses (big or small)
- 1-month memberships
- Freebies
There’s a possibility that we could have large numbers of people purchase the power pack, so I do not recommend any type of 1:1 contribution.)
It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate. Please plan to keep access to your bonus active for 30 days after the summit to give guests time to redeem them.
Information for these resources is due on April 19th along with your presentation. You'll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.
6. Promotion Period
April 28th - May 13th
This is where we work together to start a MOVEMENT to empower women in midlife!
Everyone is encouraged to spread the word on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on April 25th and up through your Presentation Day.
I will provide swipe copy and graphics to help you promote.
7. Live Participation
And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!
It would be great if you can participate in the chat on the day that your presentation is live and interact in the community group throughout the week to help attendees stay excited and engaged.
Also feel free to watch and comment on the other speaker sessions to help get some great discussions going about the topics being presented.
We will wrap up the event with a VIP After Party Zoom Meet Up and Q&A with Power Pack guests on Friday, May 13th at 8:00 pm ET. It's a great way to make one last connection with guests and celebrate!

- Let me know when you plan to be live in the community on your Presentation day. (Pick an hour anytime from 7 am - 7pm ET) I will post the time you'll be available on your speaker presentation page, so guests will know when they can interact with you. (Times might overlap with other speakers in the community at the same time.)
