Stay Hopeful!

We all have our breaking points don’t we? Have you ever been asked a simple question that sent you into a tailspin? For my guest today that question was, "What's for dinner?"

Melissa Stecher is a professional organizer, author, and founder of Hopeful Simplicity. but the road that brought her to where she is today started with a "driveway moment" that wasn't so pretty.

Melissa found herself overwhelmed with the feeling of 'it's all on me' as a parent.  She was desperate for a solution. That desperation was the catalyst for her journey and eventually led her to share the responsibility of caring for their home and planning family dinners.

In this episode you’ll hear about how Melissa transformed her approach to keeping up with the clutter and chaos of home life and how it changed her sense of self. She discovered ways to share the responsibilities of home life, without so much stress, and in doing so is teaching her son the skills he’ll need as an adult.

Now, Melissa has a business that teaches others to lead less stressful lives, one small space at a time.
