Do you wish you could turn back time? Well, we are going back in time to that golden era called the 1980s.
My guest is Carmen Quintanilla Gollihar. Carmen used her downtime during the Covid shutdown to experiment with making videos on TikTok with a focus on nostalgia for the 80s and 90s. It turns out that having fun and being silly can really pay off! She is now a one woman Video Creator of the Small Town Drama Series which is the 1st ever social media soap opera series with over a million followers on TikTok in which she wears a variety of ridiculous wigs and hilariously plays ALL the characters. In fact, she writes, films, does the costumes and edits her own skits. Carmen wasn’t always a video creator. First of all… she’s a wife and a mom to 5 kids and before she started creating videos she was a teacher and a librarian in the Texas school system with latent dreams of becoming an actress.
